The Mississippi Department of Corrections has confirmed that the transgender doctor who was convicted to life in a fatal butt injections procedure that led to a woman's death,
was found dead in prison on Sunday.
According to reports, Morris Garner, 58, who dresses like a woman and calls himself Tracey Lynn Garner, was found unresponsive in his prison cell on Sunday morning. He was transported to a Mississippi hospital where he was pronounced dead after serving 3.5 years of his life sentence,
Garner who was arrested on April 6, 2012, was found guilty of depraved-heart murder and conspiracy to commit wire fraud in the 2012 death of Karima Gordon, 37, after an autopsy revealed she had been injected with cement and other industrial products.

Gordon, an Atlanta-area resident, died eight days after receiving the injections in 2012.
The transgender doctor was convicted in 2014 for the illicit silicone buttocks injections that led to Gordon's death.
It was learned that Police also arrested one Natasha Stewart, aka Pebblez da Model, and charged her with brokering the deal that resulted in Gordon’s death.
Gordon reportedly met Pebblez in New York and paid her $200 for the referral to Garner who was not legally licensed to perform such procedures.
